Is God Calling You to Serve as an Awana Missionary?
- Do you have a passion to help children, youth and families know, love and serve Jesus Christ?
- Do you desire to empower the local church to reach the mission field right outside its doors?
- Do you want to mentor, encourage and equip church leaders to win and disciple kids and parents?
What our missionaries say
Serving as an Awana missionary is an incredibly rewarding experience and a fantastic ministry! I have a passion for serving the local church, and it's exciting to see God using Awana to help churches in following the Great Commission. From training local Awana leaders to speaking with church leaders to sharing the gospel with kids, we get to do it all!
Taylor and Meredith Lassiter
We have the privilege of speaking to the kids and sharing with them the gospel of Jesus Christ. We get to see in the eyes of the children and youth that they got it, that they really understood, and to realize that God not only allows us to do this for a living but that He actually called us. What a blessing it is to be able to be used by God.
Tim and Cheryl Welcher
More than 12,000 churches offer Awana in all 50 states. But with 139,733 evangelical churches nationwide, there's huge potential to begin Awana in many more churches. We need faith-supported U.S. missionaries to assist our current churches and to start Awana ministries in new ones.
