SUMMIT 2012  DESTINATION CHICAGO

ON  March 3–6, 2012   AT  Pheasant Run Resort, St. Charles, IL

Summit is the premier annual event sponsored by Awana for High School students. The four-day event creates an atmosphere for youth groups to build an authentic Christian community by facilitating connections and challenging students to know, love, serve and celebrate Jesus Christ.

Each day features national competitions in several categories of Fine Arts, Bible Quizzing, AwanaGames™ and Volleyball. A Summit highlight is the national Citation Ceremony, marking ten years of Awana involvement.

Be prepared to have your heart challenged this year as Pastor Shawn Thornton is coming back to speak at Summit. He and his wife, Lesli have three children and live in the Greater Los Angeles area. Pastor Thornton is Senior Pastor at Calvary Community Church and also serves on the Board of Directors at Awana. You won’t want to miss this engaging speaker as you hear what Pastor Thornton has to share with us from God’s Word.
