Rorheim Institute® receives its name from the legacy of Awana® Co-founder Art Rorheim.

Rorheim Institute represents his unwavering commitment to lay leadership training and the shepherding and discipleship of children as seen in his 55 years of leadership at Awana, where he continues to serve at age 90. From the very beginning Mr. Rorheim has always challenged leaders to invest their energy in ministering to children and youth. As an Awana leader you follow in the footsteps of these earliest volunteers.

Raising children and youth to know, love and serve Christ can only be accomplished through parents and ministry workers who are equipped to train up a child in the way he should go. And who will train the adults? The goal of Rorheim Institute is to bring awareness of adult training opportunities so that you as ministry leaders and parents can be equipped to evangelize and disciple the young people you influence.
