Learn What’s New at Awana International

Child holding BibleEquipping the local church to reach children and families with the hope
of the gospel and disciple them in Christ is what Awana International is all about.

We’ve learned some strategic new ways to help national workers do this, and we are excited about the incredible exponential growth God is providing. This new approach to growing clubs worldwide is called the Leader-Based Strategy. Here are some highlights:

4-14 Forums: Bringing pastors and church leaders together for a day of vision casting about the importance of ministry to children. At each 4-14 Forum (this title reflects the age range in which people are most receptive to the gospel message), attendees have the opportunity to register their churches for Awana Seed Planters training.

Seed Planters Training: Challenged by the 4-14 conference, pastors select two leaders to send to the three- to five-day-long Seed Planters training. Participants leave excited and ready to train additional leaders in their churches to start Awana clubs. They have all the materials they need to run their clubs for an entire year. This becomes a very affordable option in communities where economic opportunities are limited.
