Awana Achievement

Sparky Award

To earn a Sparky Award, a clubber must complete the three Sparks handbooks, which involves memorizing 107 verses. The recipient must have completed second grade.

Excellence Award

This award is given to those who have completed two handbooks or studies between third and 12th grades. The amount of work for the Excellence involves memorizing 132 verses and includes all associated activities. The recipient must have completed fourth grade or higher.

Timothy Award

This award is presented to those students who have completed any four of the third- through 12^th-grade handbooks or studies, which involves memorizing 286 Bible verses and includes all associated activities. The recipient must have completed the sixth grade or higher.

Meritorious Award

This award is presented to those students who have completed any six of the third- through 12^th-grade handbooks or studies, which involves memorizing approximately 470 verses and includes all associated activities. The recipient must have completed eighth grade or higher.

Trek Milestone Award

Can be used as a first book award for those beginning their Awana experience at the Trek level. This award can also function as a fifth book award for those that have gone through the normal handbook progression through the younger-age clubs. Recipient must be in sixth grade or higher.

Citation Award

The Citation Award is the highest achievement afforded by Awana. It is awarded only to high-school seniors and adults who have completed 10 of the third- through 12^th-grade handbooks or studies, which involves memorizing approximately 625 verses and includes all associated studies and activities.
