Executive Director, Ministry Resources

The Executive Director, Ministry Resources is charged with directing program and product development through market research, business plan development, conceptualization and timely completion. Key deliverables include:

• Developing strategic plans that support revenue targets and ministry growth
• Directing program and product development activities from conceptualization through development and evaluation of new products and continuous evaluation of existing products to support customer needs
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to advance the scope and revenue stream of the ministry
• Providing overall strategic direction and management for the following functional areas, including program design, curriculum and product development, program research, marketing and creative services
• Participating on and contributing to the Executive Leadership Team, including providing long-range planning and administering organizational direction, goals, policies and practices.

Qualified candidates should have an M.B.A or equivalent plus five to 10 years related executive-level experience and/or combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership and management abilities, the ability to strategically plan and implement concepts and ideas and a thorough understanding of business processes, technology and management practices. This position requires a leader who understands the publishing process from a customer- and market-driven perspective. The qualified candidate should have excellent networking, negotiating, interpersonal communication and persuasive public-speaking skills, strong marketing and creative skills and be a proven leader and champion for ideas, processes and the people who make it happen.
